I purchased a 2005 200hp Evinrude DFI from ARG and it was a very good experience. I’m VERY careful about attention to all details, and Victor at ARG took care of all my requests, questions, and written confirmations. Had the engine shipped to NJ and it arrived in a secure crate, no problems, no issues. The motor worked flawlessly till I sold the boat.

I bought my 2007 model 150 E-Tec new from Vic in 2006 to replace the 31-year-old 115 Evinrude on my classic 1972 SeaCraft Seafari. The E-Tec has run perfectly for over 6 years and 400 hours and has basically only been in the shop for twice for the 3-year service. However it recently started running rough and stalling just above idle, although starting, idling, and the high-speed operation was fine. A failed lift pump was replaced under warranty, and a clogged VST screen was cleaned but that still did not solve the problem. Service Manager Lenny Wong conducted two in-water tests, using the laptop to record data that he sent to BRP for analysis. BRP recommended replacement of the throttle position sensor, but Lenny and the service technicians used a test tank with the boat on the trailer to prove that the TPS change had no effect and that the fuel injectors were the most likely cause of the problem. BRP then sent 6 new fuel injectors under the FPC extended warranty program that were installed last week, and the motor is now running like new again! I bought a 1998 Yamaha 225 saltwater series outboard from victor. he said it was the nicest he had seen. he wasn’t blowing smoke. The engine is like new, runs great and when I needed some follow-up items he was right there to supply. mine was exported from the US and victor and ARG handled everything first rate. very pleased and if I need another outboard in the future ARG will be my first choice.

I purchased Twin ex-demo 2012 150 Etecs from ARG in Jan 2013. I was extremely nervous about transferring such a large sum halfway across the world while knowing nothing about the man or the company I was dealing with. Bought a demo 2013 300 Etec from these guy’s and they went well above and beyond service for this customer. First off, I drove up from Key West and they stayed late to make the sale. They went above and beyond making sure that I left with all the parts needed to rig my boat and a crate rigged to handle the motor for the ride back home. Second, I call months later to tell them that the cable config. needed to be changed and they sent the parts needed without hesitation. Excellent Service hands down… They also work very well with other Etec Dealers.

I drove 8 hours from north Florida to ARG. I would do it again in a second. World class service, GREAT boats, K2 marine’s Frontier and Evinrude ETEC. Don’t waist your time with other dealers like I did with my other boat.

Been 5yrs since Victor sold me my two dependable 150hp etec’s & I love them as much as I did when they were new. Gary is a terrific mechanic & Evinrude has stood by their warranty 100%. Just had a warranty claim approved 20 days prior to warranty expiration on original powered with just over 1500 hrs. Thanks to the entire ARG staff!!. I’ll be back when ready to replace.
